All-new Hyundai Santa Fe seats up to 7
New SUV replaces out-going Veracruz
Hyundai is putting the Santa Fe name on its all-new seven-passenger SUV that the company revealed at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show Wednesday.
The new, larger Santa Fe joins the smaller, five-passenger Santa Fe Sport which is already available at Hyundai dealerships.
For 2013, the new Santa Fe can be order with six- or seven-passenger seating. Those in the car can expect lots of cupholders (two in the front and two in the back), bottle holders in the doors, a larger central storage console, a storage bin in the front, pockets in the backs of the front seats and cargo space under the floor.
Comforts inside the car range from a panoramic sunroof to an available 12-speaker premium audio system.
Powering the big SUV is a 3.3-liter V-6 engine that Hyundai says is both smaller and more powerful than engines from its main competitors.
The 2013 Santa Fe will go on sale early in 2013, and prices will be announced closer to that time.
