I joined the NEWSCHANNEL 13 team in August 2011 as the Digital Content Director.

In January 2013, I transitioned from telling stories behind-the-scenes on KRDO.com to telling stories on NewsChannel 13 as an Anchor/Reporter. 

Born and raised in Bath, Ohio, I grew up with a love for writing. I double-majored in Broadcast Journalism and Music: Vocal Performance at American University in Washington, D.C. While in D.C., I worked on a councilman's reelection campaign and interned at Celebrity Service International where I helped launch their new website. Working at American University's "District Wire News," I quickly learned that the fast-paced newsroom was where I belonged.

Outside the newsroom, I enjoy singing, playing the piano, cooking, and being outdoors. My family is from Iran, and I am very proud of my Persian heritage.
