I have been reporting and anchoring news in Southern Colorado for more than 25 years. My goal has always been to be the person someone can invite into their home and count on to give them the real story with no fluff, no bias and to the point.
My list of broadcast achievements include: Broadcast Citizen of the Year and helping to win two National Edward R. Murrow Awards for my small part in the capture of two of the Texas Seven prison escapees.
I have a degree in Broadcast Communications and have done extensive work towards a second degree in Psychology from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley.
I am also excited to say I've added two firsts to our line-up of news programs. I was able to anchor the first Good Morning Colorado Weekend Edition in Southern Colorado. I also helped plan, launch and anchor the station's first Noon News, Monday through Friday. I now anchor KRDO, NewsChannel 13 at 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. I believe, like our station's slogan, that we are "Where the News Comes First."
