WOODLAND PARK - A former Woodland Park High School Spanish teacher accused of having child porn was arrested Friday. 35-year-old Jonathan McPhee turned himself into Colorado Springs Police, following a three-month joint investigation between the Colorado Springs Police Internet Crimes Against Children unit and Woodland Park Police.
According to Colorado Springs Police, on February 8th, 2009, one of McPhee's notebooks was found with writing inside describing fantasizing with children.
Minutes from a March Woodland Park School Board meeting shows McPhee resigned on February 13th, 2009.
While investigating the notebook, Colorado Springs Police report finding hundreds of child porn images on a computer. It's not believed there are any local victims.
NEWSCHANNEL 13 left phone messages with all five Woodland Park School Board members, but no one got back to us as of 11:30 p.m. Friday.
