PUEBLO - A security guard watching over the D-60 Administration building that flooded, was stabbed in the stomach early Wednesday morning, According to Sgt. Eric Bravo.
The Security guard claims that a man was trying to steal equipment from the site around 2:00 a.m. when he was stabbed by the suspect after a confrontation. Police arrived and found a knife in the guards stomach. He was taken to Parkview Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
After further investigation, police discovered that the security guard is a known prescription drug abuser. Now the possibility arises that the guard may have stabbed himself but police have not confirmed this.
