Tornadoes reported, warnings issued in Colo.

Associated Press - August 18, 2009 11:24 PM ET

PUEBLO, Colo. (AP) - Severe weather warnings have been canceled around Colorado, but damage left behind in Park County is a reminder of the wild weather.

There were reports of a tornado touching down Tuesday in the Lake George area, about 100 miles southeast of Denver, and minor damage at a state park. The Park County sheriff's department says the storm flattened trees and damaged a few vehicles.

No injuries were reported.

The National Weather Service says members of the public also reported a tornado about 35 miles west of Colorado Springs.

Another funnel cloud was reported about 50 miles south of Pueblo. The Weather Service says radar picked up a rotating storm in that area capable of producing a tornado.

Rain and hail moved through Teller, El Paso, Fremont and Pueblo counties before moving east.
