I joined the KRDO news team in July 2012 as a NewsChannel 13 reporter and NotiAlertas Telemundo anchor. It's my first time in Colorado, and I'm thrilled to be here!

Before moving to the Springs, I reported for WLNS in Lansing, Michigan, where I covered everything from politics to college football. I also spent time with Univision's online department in Chicago. There, I got to cover the first corruption trial of former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich. Most recently, I worked for Content That Works, a Chicago company that syndicates feature stories, niche publications, and websites.

I'm a proud graduate of Northwestern University, where I majored in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science. During my time there, I was very involved with the campus news station, the Northwestern News Network, and I took on several roles in front of and behind the camera.

I was born and raised in Franklin Park, IL, a Chicago suburb. I also lived in Mexico for five years. My entire family is from there, and I enjoy visiting every chance I get.

When I'm not working I enjoy traveling, reading, and exploring the city. If you have any suggestions for fun things to do in town, story ideas, or comments, email me at dana.molina@krdo.com.
