Position: Radio Account Executive

KRDO-AM/FM, located in beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado, along the front range of the Colorado Rockies, is looking for a Radio Account Executive.  This position is responsible to generate revenue for KRDO-AM/FM and KRDO.com.

In addition you will also be expected to create new business and new revenue.

Duties and Responsibilities:                   

The duties of this position include but are not limited to: Pursuing business from leads and accounts as assigned; assisting in setting and achieving sales projections; prospecting and closing new direct clients; developing a positive relationship with local clients and their agency of record; participating in the sales of regular and special programming and promotions; resolving billing and collection problems; increasing billing and share of business from existing clients; and meeting and/or exceeding all goals.

Requirements:                                 

You must have previous sales experience, broadcast sales is preferred.  You must be a self-starter with a highly motivated personality and maintain a positive attitude. Candidate must have a strong desire to help business owners grow their revenue. Be passionate, exhibit strong communication skills and ability to build long term relationships.

 Excellent organizational skills are required as well as a working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
