COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - A contractor says work to prevent more snow and ice from falling from the roof of the new U.S. Olympic Committee headquarters should be complete by Wednesday.
On Monday, chunks of snow and ice that fell from the building damaged four vehicles and prompted the city of Colorado Springs to block off sidewalks and close streets.
GE Johnson Construction President Jim Johnson said Friday that his company is working to prevent a repeat. He says it won't cost the city any money.
