Food Truck Tuesdays to begin in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS - For the next 10 weeks, downtown diners in Colorado Springs will be able to enjoy meals served from various local food trucks.

Starting August 15, the City of Colorado Springs' food truck pod will be setup on the west lawn of the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum.

It will be open from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

"Eight consistent trucks will appear for all 10 weeks of Food Truck Tuesdays and an additional one or two “wild card” slots will feature a different vendor each week," the City said in a press release.

The launch on Tuesday will include live music, free tours of CSPM, and the Art on the Streets public sculpture exhibit. Mayor John Suthers is also expected to speak at the event.

Food Truck Tuesdays will continue through October 17.
