EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. - The El Paso County Sheriff's Office announced on Monday that their officers will begin wearing body cameras while on patrol.

In a recent media relations email, the department stated that approximately 25 percent of their patrol officers will wear the cameras, which are capable of capturing first-person footage of traffic stops, altercations and calls for assistance.
