PUEBLO, Colo. - Ticket sales have begun for the daily flights between Pueblo and Denver.
Flights from Pueblo Memorial Airport to Denver will begin on December 1.
The service will be operated by regional carrier SkyWest Airlines and use a 50-passenger jet with a cabin attendant, our partners at The Pueblo Chieftain report.
It will replace the flights operated by Great Lakes Airlines. Great Lakes will continue running until November 30.
The tentative schedule for the SkyWest flights include:
On weekdays, flights will leave from Pueblo Memorial Airport at 6:10 a.m. and 1:40 p.m. and they will arrive back to the Pueblo Memorial Airport from DIA at 1:05 p.m. and 9:05 p.m.
On weekends, there will be only one flight. It will depart from Pueblo at 6:10 a.m. and arrive back to the airport in Pueblo from DIA at 9:05 p.m.
Pueblo officials expect this new travel plan to help alleviate the morning commute on I-25 from Pueblo to Denver and avoid rush hour.
