A driver of a pick-up is under arrest for allegedly crashing into several traffic signs early Wednesday morning.

Colorado Springs police said 44-year-old Tracy Beardsley was towing an open trailer full of computer printers when he came upon road construction on Bijou Street near Chelton Road. Police said Beardsley struck a large directional sign along with several traffic control signs.

The trailer tipped over and the computer printers fell into the road. Bijou was shut down for several hours while police investigated the crash and cleaned up the road.

When officers got to the scene, they said Beardsley was defecating in the street and throwing up. He was arrested for numerous traffic violations and DUI.
