A rollover accident in the area on Union and Academy knocked out power for about 1,650 customers.

The crashed happened around 5:30 Friday morning. The Jeep hit a utilities box and a light pole.

All power was restored shortly before 7 a.m.

Police believe that the crash was caused by drunk driver. The driver was taken to Memorial hospital but is expected to be okay.
