Arrest Made In Ft. Carson Soldier Murder

DENVER, Colo. -

Denver police said they arrested a man wanted for the July murder of Anthony Silva on Friday night.

Ricky Scott was taken into custody just before 9 p.m.

Scott was wanted for the murder of Anthony Silva. He was found shot to death in the early morning hours of July 23.

Murray said Silva's body was found laying in the street. Police said that Silva, a Sgt. in the U.S. Army, was shot while walking his dog.

Silva was a Fort Carson soldier who was about to be discharged from the service when he was shot.
