COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -

The body of a man was found near a trail in Red Rock Canyon Open Space on Tuesday morning.

Colorado Springs Police and Colorado Springs Fire Department responded to the area which is off 26th Street and Gold Camp Road.  El Paso County Sheriff's Deputies investigated the scene.

The body was discovered by a hiker near a trail around 11:00 a.m.  The body was fully clothed and not concealed in any manner, according to authorities.  The coroner has not determined a cause for the death.  It's unclear whether the death is suspicious or not.  The Major Crimes Unit is on scene.  Search and rescue crews have removed the body from the area.
