Colorado Springs Subway robbery
Police say suspect was armed with a knife
A Subway restaurant in south Colorado Springs was robbed Sunday evening.
The robbery happened at 9:40 p.m. at the Subway on Cheyenne Mountain Boulevard, near the World Arena.
Police say a man entered the shop and gave an employee a note announcing a robbery.
The suspect then pulled out a three to six inch long knife and stole an undisclosed amount of money from the register.
He fled the scene on foot.
The suspect is described as a white male in his late 20s to early 30s. He is 5'10" tall, of medium build with dirty brown hair. He was wearing black jeans, a short-sleeved brown jacket, green gloves and sunglasses.
