COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -

Colorado Springs will go out of fire restrictions effective at noon on Wednesday.

Colorado Springs Fire Department says improving weather conditions are allowing the fire restrictions to be lifted.

Recent precipitation and the continued high humidity has reduced the wildfire danger in the City of Colorado Springs.  Fuel moisture levels are making natural fuels less vulnerable to ignition.

Residents are encouraged to "Share the Responsibility" and reduce their wildfire risk by implementing Wildfire Mitigation concepts around their homes and property. Residents are also encouraged to take advantage of the break in the hot weather to work on their property and continue their mitigation efforts.
