Fremont County man arrested for sexual assault

The Fremont County Sheriff's Office has arrested a man accused of sexually assaulting three juveniles. 

48-year-old Richard Sabo of Canon City was taken into custody on Tuesday evening.  Investigators say the arrest followed a year-long investigation involving three juvenile female victims.  The offenses date back over 10 years, officials said.

Sabo is charged with three counts of sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust and one count of criminal attempt/sexual exploitation of a child.

Sabo was booked into the Fremont County Detention Center and was released on bond Wednesday morning.
