Frontier Airlines says it will discontinue Denver flights to and from Provo, Utah, after Jan. 7.
The Denver Post reports airline spokeswoman Lindsey Carpenter, citing "competitive reasons," declined to give specific details about why the company is stopping the service.
Provo Mayor John Curtis said in a statement it had to do with a reduction in the Denver-based carrier's fleet of smaller aircraft.
