Governor announces outdoor recreation project

Gov. Hickenlooper is doling out nearly $30million in outdoor recreation funds for open space, outdoor recreation and trail projects centered around river corridors.

The projects being announced Tuesday are being funded by Great Outdoors Colorado and lottery grants. Last year, the Great Outdoors Colorado board invited 17 projects to compete for the money.
