An Army post in Kansas is sending 29 helicopters and nearly 300 soldiers to Fort Carson for high-altitude aviation training.
Soldiers and aircraft from the 1st Infantry Division's 1st Combat Aviation Brigade at Fort Riley, Kan., will train at Fort Carson and in the mountains west of the post from Nov. 26 through Dec. 14.
The helicopters include Kiowas, Apaches and Blackhawks.
