Jogger hit by car in intensive care

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -

A jogger was severely injured after being hit by a car Saturday morning.

According to the Colorado Springs Police Department, the man is intensive care in serious but guarded condition. He was hit near the 5000 block of Hancock Expressway.

A witness told police the jogger was running through the right hand lane when he was hit. The victim suffered fractures to his head and leg according to police.

Police said the crash is still under investigation. No word on if the driver will face any charges.
