Colorado Springs police are warning kids and parents about a man trying to lure kids into his car by offering a ride to McDonald's.

It happened around 3:15 p.m. Sunday in the 1000 block of North Murray Boulevard.

A man told police he saw a black man trying to lure young girls into his vehicle.

The suspect is in his mid-thirties and had a medium to heavy build with short black hair. He was driving a red, new model Honda 2-door sedan.

Police have searched for that car but were not able to find it.
