Fountain firefighters rescued a man from his pick up truck after the truck went down a 150-foot embankment into Fountain Creek.
It happened just before noon behind the Love's gas station on Bandley Road, just south of Highway 16.
Fountain fire Chief Darin Anstine says the man did not have any visible injuries but did not know who he was or how he got into the creek. Given that Anstine says rescuers decided he should get to the hospital a soon as possible, which is why they called in a helicopter.
