A man was hit by a car in the northbound lanes of I-25 at mile marker 104 north of Pueblo Wednesday night.

State Patrol says they received a report of someone stopped in the right northbound lane.

When troopers arrived, they discovered a man had been hit by a car. An ambulance was called, but the man passed away.

The driver of the car that hit the man did pull over.

Northbound I-25 was closed while state patrol continued its investigation.
