Monte Vista bank robber on the run

MONTE VISTA, Colo. -

Police in Monte Vista are searching for a bank robber dressed in Colorado Department of Transportation gear. 

The black man, wearing an orange CDOT helmet, tan jacket, blue jeans, and a white handkerchief around his face, walked into the Community Bank and threatened a teller 4:45 p.m. Thursday afternoon.

Investigators say he pointed a gun, and demanded cash. 

The suspect ran away with an undisclosed amount of money.
