One killed, two injured in morning shooting

The shooting happened at a Springs apartment complex

COLORADO SPRINGS -

Colorado Springs police are investigating an early-morning shooting that left one man dead and two others injured.

It happened around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Cedar Creek Club Apartments on South Chelton Road.

Police responded to a call about shots fired, according to a press release.

When officers arrived, they found one gunshot victim. That man was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Two other men later showed up to separate hospitals with gunshot wounds.

Police are investigating, but a suspect has yet to be identified.
