Colorado Springs Police have arrested a man accused of impersonating an undercover officer and sexually assaulting a woman.

Police say the alleged sex assault happened on November 5.  The victim reported that she knew the suspect for a short time and he claimed to be an undercover narcotics officer with the Colorado Springs Police Department.

The suspect was identified as 24-year-old Stephen Frazier and was arrested on Friday afternoon in the 1900 block of South Chelton Road. 

CSPD says that Frazier is not an officer with CSPD or any other law enforcement agency.  Police say he does work as a security guard but did not say where.
