COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -

A woman accused of stealing some jewelry from a Colorado Springs store fainted before she could get away, according to police.

36-year-old Heather Lea was taken into custody after police and fire crews found her passed out in the store in the 400 block of East Fillmore Street.  Police said they found her unconscious in the store and charged her with shoplifting.

Meanwhile, police are looking for a hit-and-run driver who hit a fire truck that was responding to the incident.  The fire truck was attempting to make a U-turn onto westbound Fillmore Street when a black pickup truck, heading eastbound, hit the left side of the fire truck.  The pickup truck sideswiped the left front bumper of the fire truck then continued eastbound at a high rate of speed, police said.

Police are looking for the driver of this pickup truck and say there may be damage to the right side of the vehicle.  If you have any information, call police at 719-444-7000.
