Colorado Springs police are investigating after a man was shot in the chest. 

Officials said the shooting happened at about 12:46 a.m. Sunday in the 000 block of East Fontanero Street.

The man was transported to a hospital. Police said they  have not yet made any arrests.

Officials are still investigating.
