Pre-evacuation warnings have been issued for southwestern Douglas County.
The warning is bounded by the Palmer Divide Road and Noe Road, Spruce Mountain to Rampart Range Road. The Douglas County Fairgrounds in Castle Rock can accommodate evacuees and large animals if an evacuation becomes necessary.
Residents are urged to gather important documents, medications and personal effects.
