Prowers County man arrested for sex assault of a child

A Prowers County man was arrested Friday on a Lamar Police Department warrant for enticement of a child and sexual assault of a child by one in a position of trust.
John Dozie Salazar is accused of sexually assaulting multiple female victims under the age of 13.
Lamar Police Chief Gary McCray tells KRDO NewsChannel 13 that the crimes happened over a period of years. McCray says it will be up to the district attorney to determine if there will be any additional charges.
