Semi crash on I-25 and South Academy

A car crashed into a semi on I-25 and South Academy around 1:00 a.m. Sunday.

Northbound I-25 was closed at Exit 135 for about an hour.

The driver of the car, Brendt Dzurik, 65, was taken to Memorial Central with moderate injuries.

The driver of the semi was not injured.

Colorado State Patrol is still investigating details of the crash and whether alcohol use was a factor.
