Serious crash closes Springs intersection

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -

A serious crash closed the intersection of Rangewood and Vickers Drives.

The crash happened just before 9 a.m. Thursday morning. 

The Colorado Springs Fire Department  said it needed to extricate at least one person from a vehicle.

Officials have only said that there are serious injuries, they have not indicated how many people were injured in this crash. Crews expect to have the intersection closed in all directions while they work to clear the scene.
