COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -

After customers complained that they were being mistreated by a Colorado Springs tattoo shop, other local shops are stepping up to help.

Hellbent Tattoos, on Colorado and Wahsatch avenues, sold nearly 700 deals on the discount website Living Social, but multiple people who bought those deals told TARGET 13 Investigates that they have been canceled on at the last minute and treated badly when they've tried to re-schedule.

The owners of Tattoo X and Shazam Ink saw the story and are now offering to honor a percentage of the Living Social vouchers.

"We have already scheduled several of Hellbent's failed attempts to honor his gift certificates, and will be happy to continue doing so for customers who purchased these gift certificates," said Tattoo X owner Christopher Desilets.

Both Tattoo X and Shazam Ink will honor $75 vouchers as $100 towards a tattoo and $35 vouchers as $65 towards a tattoo.

Tattoo X is located at 576 Marquette Drive, Colorado Springs. You can view artists' work by visiting the shop's Facebook page. The phone number is 719-217-7676.

Desilets said the shop offers a 30% year-round discount for first responders (police, fire, etc.), military or military dependents and retired military with a DD214.

Shazam Ink is on 2226 E. Boulder Street, Colorado Springs. You can view artists' work by visiting the shop website or Facebook page. The phone number is 719-418-3372.
