A man is in the hospital after being stabbed at the 7-Eleven at Pikes Peak & Tejon in the Springs.

Police say it happened around 4:30 Wednesday morning.

Officers found the victim in the parking lot with a stab wound in his stomach.

He was rushed to Memorial Hospital for surgery; his wounds are considered life-threatening.

Police say they don't have a motive for the crime.

The suspect is described as a white man in his mid-30's with short dark brown curly hair.
