The Steamboat Springs Planning Commission is reviewing a proposal to allow temporary retail tents on a downtown lot.

The commission is meeting Thursday to consider the plan.

Steamboat Today reports city planners believe the project meets city planning rules, but a local business group is opposing the idea.
