A 15-year-old was sexually assaulted in Colorado Springs Monday.

Police said the girl was forced to the ground by a man on North Murray Boulevard.

The man, identified as 25-year-old Olondo Duwan Valenzuela, exposed himself to the teen before sexually assaulting her.  The girl fought back and kicked the suspect in the groin, causing him to flee, police said.

Police said the teen suffered minor injuries.

Valenzuela is in jail.
