Abrams Elementary gets new playground

FORT CARSON, Colo. - Hundreds of volunteers were out at Abrams Elementary School on Fort Carson transforming the playground.

400 volunteers from Home Depot worked to make this playground ADA compliant.

Abrams Elementary supports many students with disabilities, and its current playground equipment doesn't meet ADA standards.

More than 40 students also helped out with the design.

The good deeds don't stop there, volunteers will also work alongside Abrams Elementary Students to pack 500 backpacks with supplies for the upcoming school year.
