KEYSTONE, Colo. - The recent spring storms have allowed one Colorado ski resort to extend its season an extra weekend.
Arapahoe Basin is known for being the ski resort to stay open the longest in Colorado.
So, it was no surprise when it announced on Tuesday, May 23 that it would stay open.
A spokesperson with the resort issued the following statement:
"We are going to stay open for at least one extra weekend. We will close for seven day a week operations of Sunday, June 4. We will be closed Monday thru Thursday and we will re-open for skiing and riding Friday, Saturday and Sunday June 9, 10 and 11. Beyond that, we will have to wait and see."
So, for those of you not ready to say goodbye to the pow pow, A-basin is your last chance for this season.
