Getaway driver in string of bank robberies sentenced in indecent exposure case

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - A Colorado Springs man who was convicted of being the getaway driver in a string of robberies was sentenced for exposing himself to three little girls Tuesday (8/5/14).

Brock Butson, 51, was convicted of three counts of indecent exposure on July 23, 2014.

A judge sentenced Butson to serve 18 months in jail for each count. The judge ordered that Butson serve all 54 months consecutively, and that he may not begin serving any additional sentences until he serves out the sentence handed down Tuesday.

On June 17, 2014, a jury found Butson guilty of being the getaway driver in a string of bank robberies with his two sons.

Braden Butson pleaded guilty to two counts of felony robbery in November 2013, and was sentenced to six years in prison in January 2014. reported that Nicholas Butson pleaded guilty to the charges he was facing in November as well.

Brock Butson faces a habitual offender hearing on August 25.
