Huge giveaway in Colorado Springs

Freebies for Christmas

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo - Friday is a big day to bring holiday hope and cheer for thousands of people in Southern Colorado.  It's the 30th annual Bob Telmosse' Giveway.

From 7 in the morning until 2 p.m. or until the supplies run out,  volunteers will be shepherding individuals and families through the Freedom Financial Services Expo center to get them gifts for children and adults, food and clothing.

Tom Zurenko is the President of the Board of Directors for the Bob Telmosse' Giveaway.  He showed me around the huge Expo facility which is filling up fast with some holiday loot.  He expects up to ten thousand people to crowd the facility on Friday.  Zurenko said, "They'll wait in line and we'll run them through as fast as they can without hurrying them and get in as many people through so they can get off to their Christmas plans."

Zurenko reinforced there's no signup to get in, "No questions asked.  Bob Telmosse' always believed that if you are in need and want to come down and wait in line to get free food and toys, that's all you need."

The Freedom Financial Services Expo center is at 3650 North Nevada Avenue in Colorado Springs.
