CASTLE ROCK, Colo. - A 32-year-old woman who crashed a single-engine plane in Castle Rock near a residential area has been identified and she remains in serious condition.
KUSA-TV reports that the pilot was identified Wednesday as Helen Cernik. She was the only one aboard the home-built plane that crashed Monday night into a gully after striking power lines.
Cernik was conscious after the crash when emergency responders arrived.
