COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - A cold spring storm system is expected to bring heavy snow to parts of Colorado at the end of this week, including Teller County.
A winter storm watch has been issued for Teller County, including Woodland Park and Cripple Creek, from tonight through Friday afternoon.
Periods of heavy snow will be possible, with the worst of the weather expected to arrive Thursday night.
Heavy snow is also expected in the foothills west of Denver and in the mountains.
Widespread rain is expected across eastern Colorado, but no advisories have been issued for the plains.
