Felicion Charles
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -

An arrest was made Saturday in a Colorado Springs sexual assault reported Monday.

Police said Felicion Alexander Charles, 22, was involved in the home invasion and sexual assault that occurred near the 4000 block of Westmeadow Drive. The victim said she was raped at gunpoint while another man burglarized her home.

Charles has been charged with sexual assault, aggravated robbery and first-degree burglary. Police said Charles will have to post more than $1.5 million in bond to get out of jail because of the nature of the crimes.

Jail records indicated Charles is an active-duty Fort Carson soldier and had no prior warrants for his arrest.

Police said they were able to recover many of the items taken during the burglary.

A second suspect is still being sought and police consider this an open investigation. If anyone has information about this case please call (719) 444-7000; or you may call Pikes Peak Area Crime Stoppers, Inc. at (719) 634-STOP (7867); you do not have to give your name and could earn a cash reward.
