It's the 13th annual Boats, Bands and BBQ on the riverwalk in Pueblo.
While the music and boats certainly won't add to your waistline, the barbecue just might. There are endless options of vendors waiting to serve you, but some of the best are award winning.
"We keep coming back because the last few years here we've been taking first sauce," said Tom Moau with Montana-Q.
As vendors vie for the perfect recipe, the competition heats up. So what are the secret ingredients? While vendors say they won't share their recipe, they'll give a few hints.
"It has about 25 different ingredients with Asian flair," said Moau.
"Brown sugar, honey, butter," stated David Purdy with Lost Weekend Catering.
The one thing that is certain, barbecue may not help the waistline - - but Purdy denies it.
"We don't count calories in barbecue" said Purdy.
