PEYTON, Colo. -

The El Paso County Sheriff's Office said investigators have found what caused an evacuation at the Peyton post office Friday morning.

The sheriff's office said deputies were called around 6:15 a.m. Friday. Workers were sorting mail when they said they found a possible explosive device, the sheriff's office said.

Deputies said the device turned out to be a novelty pineapple-style grenade.
