COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -

Students at the Discovery Canyon Campus were taken to New Life Church after the school learned of a bomb threat Wednesday morning. Police searched the building and found nothing.

Academy School District 20 says that no injuries were reported, and that the school was evacuated as a precaution. The district typically doesn't evacuate for bomb threats, but this time it changed its policy because of the size of the school.

Parents received a text message and email telling them to pick up their children from New Life Church.

The Discovery Canyon Campus is a prekindergarten through 12th grade school located at 1810 North Gate Boulevard on the north end of Colorado Springs.
