Position: Broadcast Operations Traffic Supervisor

KRDO-TV, located on the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains, is seeking a Broadcast Operations Traffic Supervisor.  The BOTS is responsible for training and acting as a resource for the Broadcast Operations Traffic Department.  This department's primary function is to disseminate programming information onto standardized traffic formats to be used in a centralized environment for News-Press & Gazette's broadcast television stations around the country.

Job Description:  Primary responsibilities will be to act as the NPG Wide Orbit gatekeeper.  To perform traffic system security requests and perform security audits.  Be the project lead in all traffic conversions.  To implement and maintain various reporting techniques and data analysis to monitor adherence of established standards and processes.  To participate in day to day communication between the BOC and local NPG stations to include content management, playlist integrity and documentation of weekly program contingencies.  To review daily discrepancy reports and to insure team members are briefed and trained on any necessary changes.  All other duties as assigned by the BOC supervisor.

Requirements and Qualifications: Candidate must have strong analytical and organizational skills and be able to work in a fast paced and ever changing work environment.  Candidate should possess excellent communication and customer service skills.  Candidate must have excellent computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft office software.  Ability to travel occasionally for work to other NPG locations.  Two years of television traffic experience is preferred as well as knowledge of the Wide Orbit traffic system.
